We had a huge day walking to Franz Josef Glacier, Fox Glacier and later to Lake Matheson. I took my tripod each time along with my camera gear – trying for panoramas and low light shots where I could. I was glad to take this gear from my shoulders at the end of the day. Some truly wondrous and foreign landscapes – all in the space of 1 day...
